OK, I told you this was Horse Country...


Pop With Babe's foal. 


Jonette was her name.



Babe was a tall Quarter horse. 
Rhode Island Red in front, were good laying chickens.

I think I'm still getting over the jitters of being bitten, bucked and stepped on... not
by Bronc. He was a very kind horse, my favorite.



This is my Great Aunt Sylvia b.1888, with Nugget in the background.
Aunt Sylvia was a dear soul and spent many summers with us.



OK, stop laughing. This is the burro that Pop bought as a backpacking animal.
And we used it. I don't think the neighbors cared much for the braying. It lived down
at the pasture at 5401 ( Hausen's ) so it wasn't quite as loud down at our house.....


Richard's goat Cookie, used to like to stand or lay in the horse's water trough. 


Robert, my oldest brother is on the right. Don't know who the other cowboy is.
