Robert signed up with the Marine Corp the day after they bombed Pearl Harbor. He hated selling his Model A before leaving for Camp Pendleton in California, then on to the Pacific. |

Jan. 4th, 1942, Bob on his way to Boot Camp, Camp Pendleton, San Diego, Calif.. And his first day outside for weeks after recovering from Pneumonia. |

Carl died while Bob was on his Pacific tour. |
